Majora Beast and Traveler

At the end of the Majora's Mask manga is a side story of the mask's origin. basically there was a legend that a beast's armor could grant wishes, so humans swarmed from all over to try and get the beast's armor. The beast ate them all, and when it seemed like no humans were left after many years of nothing, a traveler (who seems to look like Link) comes forth. He says he's not there to get the armor, that he has no wishes. instead he questions the beast of why it is still there. The beast doesn't know, and now that he stops to think about it, he wonders why he has not died after living countless years. then there is something about the beast wants his time to start, so the traveler pulls out a drum and the beast dances for 3 days and 3 nights to the rhythm of the drum til it dies and disappears leaving behind it's armor. The traveler pulls out his sword and carves out a part of the armor into the Majora's Mask, saying the armor's magic has been sealed within the mask.



so yeah... I've been working on this on and off for the past few months. mostly cause I couldn't decide on the color of the beast, from it's fur, to the armor headpiece, to its eyes. and I'm still not thrilled with it, I'm just tired of looking at it that I wanted it to be over and done with. One of these days I'll get around to updating it.
